This seems to have changed format with version 41 to the changelog-for-/ subdirectory. For versions to 40 this is in the changelog-/ subdirectory of /desktop/. so for Opera 40 that would be "Changelog for 40" - Opera blogs. So I was justified in not letting Opera update automatically, but finding old versions of Opera was quite a chore: none of my old links to Opera's version archives and changelogs worked.
